DUNN FARMERS MARKET

The Dunn Farmers Market will officially open May 2008 and will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The market will be located at the parking lot behind Sherry’s Bakery on Clinton Avenue in Downtown Dunn. Terry Moody is the volunteer manager for the market. Terry grows blueberries, lettuce, mushrooms, peppers, eggplant and more.

Vendors participating will sell homegrown vegetables, fried pork skins and homemade purses. Everything is locally grown and made.

The Farmers Market will be open to the public every Saturday through October. Those growing their produce or making homemade items can get an application to join the market at the Chamber office. The cost to join is only $50 per year or $10 per week giving vendors the opportunity to sell their products each Saturday. For more information, call the Dunn Chamber at 910-892-4113.
