LowCost to NoCost Ways to Market Your Business
Through Your Membership in the Dunn Chamber

Marketing is a must for a business in today’s market place. According to Business Experts, Marketing should be considered an investment in your business not an expense. Repetition is key to marketing as it can take up to 9 times for someone to see your marketing piece before you are remembered. Are you taking advantage of your marketing benefits as a Chamber Member? We have several affordable and some free ways for you to promote your business through your membership in the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce.

Newsletter ($100 to $400) - Provide 600 flyer inserts to DACC for the newsletter month of your choice and we will mail them for you at a cost of less than 18 cents per potential customer - only $100. These newsletters go out to the Who’s Who in Business in the Dunn area and are on the Chamber’s website. There are advertising opportunities on the inside and outside of the newsletter.

You can purchase mailing labels for only $25 (member cost) and mail your own mailings to DACC members.

Business Fest ($175 in 2009) - You can promote your business to more than 1300 people at this annual show designed to allow you to show off your products and services.

Sponsor Chamber Events (for as little as $100) - Sponsor the Christmas Gala, Annual Banquet, Boogie Down on Broad Street or other events and have your business name promoted at the event and in at least 2 chamber newsletters. Sponsorships generally begin at $100 and increase to $200 and then $300. Title and Official Sponsorships are available for some events each year- cost ranging from $1000 to $2000.

Sponsor and/or host a Business After Hours ($250 plus Food Cost) - Great way to show off your business’s service and products by bringing the potential customers to your facility. Business After Hours is a great networking opportunity - a great way for you to get names and information for additional marketing. Call and reserve your month today!

Special Hint for attending Business After Hours- They are free to attend for DACC members. Bring your business card and your 30 second commercial and make some great business contacts.

FREE Opportunities - You can participate in the “Welcome Home to Dunn” program by just dropping off your promotional or discount materials to the Chamber office- they are delivered to all new residents of Dunn when they have their water turned on. You can place your business ad on the back of the bag for only $150.

Campbell Street Fair - we will take your promotional or discount materials and distribute for
you at this event for FREE.

You can have your business information published for FREE in the Chamber newsletter through Member Focus - simply send us your news, anniversaries, etc. and/or Business Spotlight - you complete an information sheet on your business and it will be included in the chamber newsletter at no additional cost to your membership. We also feature New Members for Free in our “Welcome New Members” Section.

FREE Listing in the Chamber’s Membership Directory and on our Web Site- We will even link to your web page for FREE. (Ads are also available at very affordable prices in the Membership Directory and on the Chamber website.)

FREE and Most Effective - One of the best ways to promote your business through your chamber membership is by getting involved. Serve on a committee, volunteer for chamber events and activities, help out with special functions, attend large meetings such as the Annual Banquet and Christmas Gala, and attend Ribbon Cuttings and Business After Hours. Get to know new friends and at the same time promote your business.

NETWORKING is a BIG benefit that the Chamber can offer. All you have to do is show up
and be ready to introduce yourself. (If you would like an ambassador to introduce you around
your first time, just call the Chamber office and we will get you teamed up.)

We have seen many people grow their business successfully through Networking via DACC.

To show your partnership with DACC and its more than 440 members, you can use the Chamber logo in your newspaper ads. Help us get the word out to “Invest with those who Invest in our Community.”
