 The Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee extends an opportunity to you to make a difference in a child’s life! A great number of children attending Harnett Primary School are not making scores needed to pass their grade. This has been an ongoing issue for quite some time. We invite you to sign up to be a tutor for the 2009-2010 school year. Last school year we had approximately 35 tutors sign up and it proved to be a great success. We encourage you to donate a minimum of thirty minutes of your time each week-this can prove to make a drastic change in the lives of these children. If you can read, write, and do a little “rithmatic” you are a candidate! This invitation goes out to individuals as well as employers who wish to allow their employees to also take part.
