 50 people were in attendance as Scott Sauer, Harnett County Manager, gave the State of the County at the Governmental Affairs meeting yesterday. He stated our county has fared the recession well and sees signs the economy is slowly turning around: Permit activity on the increase; future impact of Harnett Health Systems; and tax collections up from last year.
