Beautiful, great and elegant with a few surprises is a great way to describe the Chamber's Professional Women's Luncheon presented this year by lead sponsor, Jernigan's Nursery & Trading Post.
The decorations were beautiful and gave the more than 275 people in attendance a breath of spring as they entered in. The entertainment provided by Butler, Hughes and Hayes, left everyone wanting to hear even more and the elegant and delicious food catered by B & B Catering & Event Planning was also a big hit. Most of those in attendance agree that this year's event was one of the best ever.
Patricia Timmons-Goodson, Associate Justice for the North Carolina Supreme Court gave an inspiring and timely speech and Chamber President Barry Kelly surprised everyone with his impersonation of his strange cousin, Julia Kelly.
All attendees received a beautiful lunch tote and several went home with a door prize donated by DACC members.
